The USS High Point is under restoration and moored along the Columbia River. Though the Proteus engines have been removed from the vessel, the ship still retains her surface power engine. Plans are in the works for the vessel to be moved to a facility near Portland Oregon for ease of accessibility and greater exposure to more potential volunteers.
